THE HAMILTON CROP CIRCLE IS ADDRESSING LOCAL FOOD ISSUES IN BALTIMORE MARYLAND !

The Hamilton Crop Circle wants continue to grow all of our projects here in Baltimore, MD!

We plan to expand our local farming projects so we can grow year round by building hoop houses at the local farmers market and at the Hamilton Elementary Middle School where we are already growing vegetables with the teachers and students. We will build an outdoor classroom and tool sharing area so we will have space to teach our students about gardening and sustainable practices in the city. We will also have a  classroom space and tool storage are to create an after school community work program that will allow students from  HEMS to work in our neighborhoods creating jobs and a safe space for students to be after school.

We will expand our composting operation. Will will gather more compostable food waste from local restaurants and businesses, farmers markets and community members.  Producing and selling compost tea at more local businesses will help in reduce the use of chemical fertilizers that damage soils and drinking water.

We will focus on expanding our  food gathering operation at the local farmers market in Baltimore. We will expand our network of  resources for gathering unused produce and getting it those most in need in Baltimore City.

We will continue  to support other urban farming initiatives in Baltimore by providing affordable materials and  resources for their gardens while creating a strong net work of support for those working in Baltimore and beyond.

Thank you for your support!
