About this project
Toothbrush follows the life of Ernest, a secretive man who hates being followed. Upon the discovery of his missing toothbrush, Ernest embarks on an adventure to find a new one.
His car is stolen, and only a mysterious cellular phone is left in its place. The phone rings and a DJ is on the other line, congratulating him on winning a contest he never signed up for. When the DJ and Ernest agree to meet in person, the DJ becomes enamored by Ernest's bathrobe, and everyone becomes side-tracked.
Ernest's journey leads him to strange places, sticky situations, and terrible people-- a foxy sociopath named Joan, and drug dealer with impeccable oral hygiene--all in a quest to find his missing belongings.
With its eerie tone of magical realism and bizarre character interactions, Toothbrush shows true frustration through Ernest's eyes, as he participates in the weirdest day of his life.

Production began as a favor for a friend, but quickly grew as word spread.
