We are thrilled to announce that with your generous donation we have reached our goal, and even surpassed it!!! We are incredibly touched by your contribution to this artistic journey, and we will take your support and enthusiasm with us on the tour. By helping this tour, you've made a powerful statement about the importance of cross-cultural artistic exchange, and we are so proud to represent our community of backers at the international performing arts festival—Bali Internasional: Museum Gunarsa Perayaan Kesenian Bali Dari Seluruh Dunia. (Bali International: Museum Gunarsa Festival of Balinese Arts from Around the World).

First off, I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of our backers thus far. Our dancers are so grateful that you have pledged to support their development as artists, and helped to make it possible for them to immerse themselves fully in the art form to which they dedicate their love and time. Opportunities like this are rare, (and too infrequent in my humble opinion), yet they are essential for they allow for advancement of technique, cultivation of cultural understanding and colloquy, and reflection on the power that the arts have to make life meaningful. 

I've had the joy of watching the dancers this season as they have learned and performed beautiful repertoire, both new and traditional on stages all across California from Davis, to Nevada City, to LA, to SF. They really do bring wonderful gifts to every audience. 

Now, excitement is in the air as they prepare for the tour, and we just have 7 days left on our kickstarter.  If you haven't already, we hope you BACK THE PROJECT, and/or TELL YOUR FRIENDS to throw in a couple clams, bucks, greenbacks, rupiah, you get the idea. You can get cool gifts, and better than that, a good feeling in your heart for supporting these lovely dancers!
