Thanks so much for all of your support! 

Against all odds, we did it! We managed to round up local Austin chefs to put their lives on hold and accept a Grubly mission: cook for an unknown number of people at an unknown time and location.

We pulled it off, thanks to an awesome chef crew, the spirit of SXSW, and an amazing Austin community!

From tie dying our chef’s coats in the kitchen sink to making 1000 Grubly buttons in the living room; from rollerblading across town to Fedex to beat the traffic, to bypassing security to get direct approval from SXSW (written, no less, on a torn piece of notebook paper); from whittling down a 10-day food-vendor permit processing ordeal to a quick and friendly 20 minute stint at the Health Department, to making friends with the local Fire Department (who happened to be sitting on the only piece of public land that wasn’t reserved already and didn’t require 6 months prior notice to get a permit)... we experienced the best of Austin and fed 250 hungry Grubsters!
