Kickstarter

Hi everyone!  I am Groana Melendez, and I'm an emerging fine art photographer looking to take part in my first residency!  The residency will take place at Proyecto Ace in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a period of two weeks in August.  I applied not truly believing that I would be accepted... I figured it would just be good practice.  Then a few weeks later I received my invitation letter and I cannot even begin to express how excited I was.  I finally have the opportunity I've been waiting for, and now financial issues are the only thing stopping me.

Now, because 'ace is a relatively young organization, they don't have the financial sources to fund this program. Therefore, it's up to the artists to raise the money to participate in the residency, and this is where your help comes in.

The nitty gritty: I'm looking to raise $5,200 (airfare included) -- SCARY!....i know... :( .  $5,200 that I do not have and that if I don't raise I wont' be able to partake in this program.  

I truly need your help guys.  Good news is it's not all "gimme gimme gimmeee pleaseeeeee."  I have some sweet perks when you decide to help fund this project.  

Any little bit counts guys.  I know times are rough but tell all your friends.... share everywhere, facebook, twitter, (what else do the kids use these days?) well you know what i mean... use everything!!!!  Y para mis dominicanos...... i know  ya got a primo out there, o el primo del amigo de la novia de fulano that could help too.  So use the networks you have.
