Hello Wonderful Backers!

A quick update to let you know that the "Special Features" content has been completed for the Blu-Ray special edition.  Shortly we'll be sending it to our manufacturer in Denver (thanks to filmmaker Hunter Weeks for his referral).  They will be authoring a master copy and sending it to us for review.  Once all that is done we will have them press the copies and ship them to me.  We're almost there so I really appreciate your patience.  (And fear not, if you don't want a blu-ray disc I'll make you a DVD or send you a digital copy).  I'll be in touch soon (approx mid Jan) to confirm everyone's shipping address and thank you gifts.

How Do You Write A Joe Schermann Song has been shortlisted for IFP's Gotham Audience Award!! Simply put they are like the Oscars for independent film selected by distinguished juries, presented in New York City, the home of independent film, & are the first honors of the film awards season.

We need your help by voting for us! -- The votes are setup to narrow down the 31 eligible films to 5 nominations that get to attend the ceremony in person. Needless to say, this is a very exciting honor and could potentially change our careers with this type of national exposure. In fact, I could finally land a manager or agent with this if we were nominated!

Just wanted to share with you our latest screening updates:

First off our huge announcement is we are beginning our theatrical screenings with our NYC Premiere on November 1st (Thurs) at 7:30pm at the Landmark Sunshine Theaters! I'll be there with the entire cast (Joe Schermann, Christina Rose, Mark DiConzo, Debbie Williams, Daryl Ray Carliles) and composer Ken Lampl for a Q&A after the screening.  We'll also have some free giveaways as well.
