Afterwords' unique niche seeks to reinvent our abandoned buildings and spaces by way of dynamic, creative, sustainable designs. - 'Sustainability', 'recycling', and 'green' have become mainstream buzzwords. Thankfully, because understanding these concepts are fundamental for our survival on this planet; however, they remain basic, insufficient, and lame (e.g. changing lightbulbs, etc.). Fall_Apart_Park_ is positioned as an exploration of these critical concepts; this book is a showcase, designed to demonstrate the depth and the layers: to open these words, examine their organs and functions, and enrich their potential. You want this novel to exist, so that we can approach -and extend- the limits of what is possible.

Gregory Crawford lives in a hand-made earth-house in the forests of western Washington State for two summer-months of each year; the rest of the time he is any/everywhere. His self-crafted 'independent learning contracts' with The Evergreen State College have sent him to study autonomy, sustainability, the built environment, urban design, and creative writing/non-conventional communication in Thailand, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, The Balkans, and Brazil. An accomplished earthen building teacher, an experienced organic farmer and seed saver, and budding permaculture consultant, Gregory strives to bring his skills and accomplishments to the urban zone.
Right now, he is deep in the lab, planning a great secession/system underthrow, blueprinting a Free-City with an Open-Source Government.
