After finishing the Explore with Farmer Jon a couple months ago, I decided that the Dam It the App would be more fun if it wasn't a literal translation of the board game. I have been working on creating a game that is true to the theme and that really plays up the roles of the character (No Sumo pun was intended). The artist has committed to finish the art within this next coming weeks, so expect to see a flood of art, and your characters finished as well. If you haven't done so already, please send in your head shot ASAP. As a final note, we are looking at changing the name of the app/board game. This decision is not being made lightly. There are markets that we would like to sell into that are blocked with its current title. The names that we like best out of hundreds that we have thought of are: Terra Shrinka or The Incredible Shrinking Island. If you like/hate either of these, please leave a comment on Kickstarter.com. Progress So Far

I have started getting emails from people asking how the project is coming along.  The short answer is: slowly!

The artist's wife has been in and out of the hospital and so unfortunately the art is been on the back burner.  The card art is almost all complete and I will be posting it on Green Haven Games when it is done.  You're going to love it.

There is quite a long process becoming an officially recognized apple developer.   Because the process of creating and getting approved is so long and technical, I have decided to create a simple children's app to make sure that I understand Apple's complete development cycle.  Then, when I push Dam It through the channels I won't be surprised.  This will take a couple of months to do completely, but it will result in a more polished version of Dam It because I will have learned some lessons and know what the end looks like.  There is only one way through the gauntlet and I want to come out a winner!

Remember the old Ketchup commercial - "Good things come to those that wait."

We have a process ahead of us as we make this happen, but it's going to be a great ride.  I will keep you posted here and will keep you updated on anything that I need from you (pictures, email adresses, etc...)
