Update #8: Happy New Year!!!!! We are picture locked!!!
Hello Everything, Almost Family!
We are pleased to kick off the New Year by announcing that Everything, Almost has officially picture locked! We couldn't be any more thrilled with the project and so we quickly advance to the final stages of sound production and the film score!
We thank you for all of your patience...we are so close to finishing this baby and sharing it with you all.
Wishing you a very happy and successful 2012! Here's to an auspicious Year of the Dragon! May we all continue to be a part of the creative process!

Update #6: Everything, Almost Wraps!
Day 1 found us battling freezing temperatures and biting winds up on the high bluff but we endured and captured amazing shots!!!
Day 2 found us in better conditions down on the beach where we worked like crazy and laughed ourselves silly! Our song of the day was Jack Sparrow featuring Michael Bolton! Thank you to The Lonely Island for such an inspiring song which provided endless merriment to our cast and crew…I refuse to admit how many times this song was played!
The shots were GORGEOUS thanks to our amazing director Alex O. Gaynor whose work is just breathtakingly oh so beautiful! The performances by our lead actors Jeannie Bolét and Brahm Gallagher were outstanding! Truly a joy to watch!!! A massive thank you to our small but mighty crew Jeremy Rush and Adam Douglass who walked countless miles and braved the elements…including a “bag of ticks” (A brave soul you are Jeremy!)
And last but not least…THANK YOU to all our Kickstarter supporters and our dear friends and family who have showered us with love and support along the way! We could not have done it without you!!! With a lot of heart and a lot of hard work, the Everything, Almost team has captured something truly special!!! We can not wait to share it with you all!!! Updates on post production soon to follow! Again, from the bottom of our hearts… MUCH L♥VE AND THANKS!!!
Update #5: Today's The Day!!!
Update #4: Location and tech scout!
Sunday, somewhere in SLO County. Alex, Susane and Jeannie had the horrible task of checking out locations up in San Luis Obispo County. Armed with a camera, the script, and a bag of beef jerky(!) we mapped out the locations in the script and walked for miles... Miles, to achieve a believable England in the midst of California... I think we earned that Magnum chocolate, almond covered ice cream bar - that is to say that it was a very successful scout day. One filled with sand, sea lions and salty air... Ahhhhh.
To say that the beaches of SLO are beautiful is an understatement. They are breathtaking!! Humbling and awe-inspiring. You will literally want to yell at the sea and say "Who the hell did this awesome feat of nature?" Don't expect an answer but FYI: it was Poseidon. Just a little landscaping project he did some 100 million years ago. (Note: Do not quote me in your geology project. You will not get an A, for sure!)
Oh, and a big thanks to Susane's buddy, J.J. Rowley, for supplying the Tangelos! Did someone say juicy?!!

Jeannie is a Liverpool born actress and writer living in Los Angeles.
She spends most of her time chipping away at her film making dreams - little by little and bit by bit.
She's dedicated to writing stories that just so happen to be ethnically diverse, visually evoking and with the aim of making your heart skip a beat. Her main goal is to spread a little off-beat love around the world in the form of this visual poem.
