Rodale Institute Shoot Next Week

Things are humming along beautifully. We have another major sponsor for the film...well, two actually. Silk and Horizon Organic out of Boulder, CO! They believe in the film and in us and want to help get it made and spread the message far and wide. It's an exciting development, and we are so grateful for their passion for educating consumers, helping farmers, and fighting for truly sustainable agriculture.
I leave on Friday for our shoot next week at Rodale Institute and Washington, DC. I'll be with the very best of crews! Rod Hassler (camera), Dan McCoy (sound), and Josh Kunau (producer). And we'll be interviewing lots of amazing folks over the 5-day shoot, including Maria Rodale, Mark Smallwood "Coach", local farmers, Congressman Young (AK), and others.
Rodale Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to pioneering organic farming through research and outreach. For over sixty years, they've been researching the best practices of organic agriculture and sharing our findings with farmers and scientists throughout the world, advocating for policies that support farmers, and educating consumers about how going organic is the healthiest option for people and the planet.
Their Farming Systems Trial is the longest-running side-by-side U.S. study comparing conventional chemical agriculture with organic methods. What have they found? Organic yields match conventional and outperform them in years of drought and environmental distress. New areas of study include rates of carbon sequestration in chemical versus organic plots and new techniques for weed suppression.
This is our last major shoot, and we're moving ahead full-force into the post-production stage of the film. We've raised about 65% of our budget to date, and we're so grateful for all the love and support!

I'm co-leading a Label GMOs team in my area and just want to say how excited I am for this film! I hope it comes out in time to help us "swing votes" for our initiative in California!

Hi Jeremy . I am happy you are getting closer to your goal and I hope your project is a success. I do want to say , although, you should be aware that your two new "sponsors" are not what they seem.
