Update #84: The End.
Update #83: Counting Down
Update #82: Multiplex/Breakfast Club T-shirts are in!
Update #80: James Szajda's Kickstarter backer comic
Update #79: Angie as Knives Chau
This is another one of the reader sketches, but I got sort of inspired by stumbling across Emily Carroll's stuff on the interwebs and decided to play a little bit.
This sketch is for a reader who requested Angie in some manner of costume, but left it up to me to decide which costume. (Sorry, the original sketch is in black and white.)
Update #78: I am a terrible inker #3: Becky lights up, while Jason suits up, and Angie shoots things up (updated)
Update #77: I am a terrible inker #2: Sunny Whips It
Update #76: New store, new code
Update #75: I am a terrible inker #1
This is the first of about 24 hand-drawn sketches for various Kickstarter backers that I'll be showing here over the next week or two. This first one will be a public post, but the others will go back to being backers-only.
(For privacy reasons — and because my list of what the sketches are of doesn't have the requesters' names on it — I'm not signing them until after I post them online. Some of the backers will know instantly which one is theirs; others will just have to wonder!)
Here is one of the EIGHT Angie sketches (some in various costumes, others in the Multiplex uniform like this) — by far the most requested character, which was a little surprising to me, since Jason and Becky are the most requested characters at the few conventions I've attended to date.
Anyway… here you go!

Update #74: Hollywood Accounting 1
Update #73: New desktop picture, minor book update
Update #72: Multiplex: Enjoy Your Show files released to the printer!
It's officially official. The Multiplex: Enjoy Your Show — a.k.a. Multiplex: Book 1 — files have been released to the printer — a.k.a. Josten's (yes, the class ring/yearbook company).
Now, we're waiting for them to verify the files and send me printer's proofs. Despite two weeks of meticulous proofreading (thank you, Frank and Mela), there will probably be a couple of minor corrections to a few pages once I've seen the proofs, so I'm not 100% sure how long this stage will take. Probably a couple of weeks? I'll keep you updated, of course. :)
Here is what should be the FINAL cover:

Connected as Gordon McAlpin (804 friends)
I write and draw Multiplex, an online comic strip about the staff of a movie theater.
So how do I go about getting you the extra cash. Kickstarter doesn't seem to have a function to adjust my pledge amount. Do you just want me to use the PayPal donation button on the Multiplex site and put my requested size in the comments box? I was hoping for an XL or larger and wanted to make sure they were available.
Hang on until I get the shirts in, so I know exactly what sizes I have. I'm pretty sure I'll have a couple extra Men's XLs, but I stupidly didn't keep track of the extra sizes I asked for. But I'll want you to send money via PayPal to gordon at multiplexcomic.com (not via the button; they go to different accounts).
OK, thanks. I'll wait for an update when the shirts come in then.
