Update #3: You did it!! Thank you!!
Whoooooa!! Thanks to you all, we now have the money we need to make a new record, and that is extremely humbling. Many thanks to fans (like you don't spend enough on us already), friends and friends-in-bands (sorry for those things we said to you last week, we take it all back), music bloggers (there were a lot of you putting your money where your pens are), and of course our families. Really, everyone who pledged is part of the fam now.
We'll be playing tomorrow (Sunday Jan. 29) at the Bootleg Theater in Echo Park to celebrate the end of this Kickstarter campaign. Hope you'll be there. The details are here: https://www.facebook.com/events/350328088312718/
For people who requested rewards: it takes about 2 weeks for Kickstarter to clear payments. Around that time, Kickstarter will send you a form asking for your mailing address and other details. That means we'll be dropping stuff in the mail in mid-February.
The new album will take a bit longer to make. Everyone who pledged $10 or more will get it via email the day it comes back from the mastering studio. That will probably be in the summer sometime.
We still have three days left on the campaign – any money we get between now and then will go to packaging and shipping rewards. (That will probably cost us $200 or so.)
Again, thank you so much. We can't wait to make this record and we couldn't do it without you.
