Kickstarter

'sauce' is something I wrote in response to a frustration of mine, but something I filmed, produced and completed because of my passion for creating, entertaining, and inspiring an audience!

Little did I know how much work this "little" story would take.   When people describe movie making as preparing for a war, they are not kidding!  Sometimes it felt like a literal battle to get this film made and completed!  As with most things, however, I'm so glad I did it and am extremely proud of the final results!  I am also thankful for all the amazing and talented people who shared their talents to make this short!

Which brings me to KICKSTARTER and why I have posted my project here.  I need help getting 'sauce' out there and seen, and of course that takes money!  I have been submitting it to festivals, which cost between $25 to $55 dollars EACH.   This has become extremely expensive and will continue to be as I keep submitting the film.  Additionally, 'sauce' needs publicity material printed and  DVD screeners need to be burned.

Essentially, I need YOUR help with publicity and promotion of my short!  Making sure that this film is able to get exposure, be promoted, and be seen by audiences, thus completing the cycle of MOVIEMAKING! 

This is my first time using KICKSTARTER, but I have been aware of it for some time now and am intrigued and optimistic about what it can do!  I have a great feeling about this site and the amazing tool it could be!

'Sauce' Synopsis:

Here at Reliable Insurance, each day is the same. Each hour drags on until released for the evening, to come back and do it all over again.
However, today there is hope. Today, two men, relative strangers, connect on their lunch break finding an unlikely bond. A friendship that could finally change their lives. Or at least their lunch break.
