About this project

I've been making my own guitar picks for about a year now and just recently decided to try and turn my hobby into a legitimate side-business. I'm calling them Roma Picks. I draw the designs, cut out the patterns with a laser-cutter, hand-sand the edges and bevel the tips until I get each one just right. They're fun to make and even more fun to play with!

In the video above you can see me demonstrating some of my picks, playing around in the gypsy-jazz style these picks are especially designed for.

I will post images of all the picks I end up creating from this project, and certain pledge levels will get their pick of my picks. You can read the break-down at the bottom. Anyone who falls under this category will be contacted so I can get your address to send the pick(s) to.

If this project is successful, I'm hoping to branch out into exotic materials like bamboo and possibly combine laser-etchings with the cut-out patterns I'm currently using. I will also have enough money to make a substantial inventory, allowing me to pursue this as a side-business like I'd hoped.
