Hello everybody out there,

We are three girls from Slovakia, Europe and we have come here to tell you the story behind the PC online game called Tunnelers. 

So what is your story?
On one shiny day our boys, computer freaks addicted to video games, decided to create their own computer game. They thought: „Hey, why don´t we stop playing all those games and actually create something ourselves?“ 

They liked the idea so much that they established their own indie development studio and ended up working on the game days and nights. It is set in the future, you dig tunnels with your tank, team up with your friends and shoot other tanks. That is why they called it Tunnelers. It is multiplayer only, so you fight against other humans, no dumb computers.

The more they worked on it, the more they liked it and the more features they implemented. But the game grew up hugely. What originally was supposed to take a couple of months took two and a half years. It did not matter to them. The only thing that did and still does is the quality.

Why are you here?
Seeing their passion, we felt that we had to do something to help them and support them. The best idea we came up with was to come here, tell all the good Kickstarter users and passionate gamers about Tunnelers and ask you for your help.

We would like to ask you to pledge money that will be used for the game development and renting hardware to operate the game servers. That way they will be able to continue developing the game further, while still being able to provide it for free.

Hold on a sec. The game is going to be for free?!

Yes, that`s true. It sounds crazy to us too.

Our boys want to give it away for free, so other players have absolutely no barriers if they want to try and enjoy it. At the same time they want to implement premium content, such as more tanks, more maps, statistics, awards etc. They believe if players love the game they will have no problems buying those enhancements. 

So what do I get in return for my pledge?

For all the money you will be rewarded with super cool features and extra content they keep telling us about. 

Digital poster – hi-res, could be used as a wallpaper too, printed version in the 150 USD level)

Tunnelers mp3 main theme (played in the video background, part of the OST in the 30 USD level)

Digital copy of the game with all the updates ever released, including early access to all the future beta versions.

Tunnelers T-Shirt limited edition (everybody wants to have one)

The Tunnelers supporter gold and silver badges visible in your personal statistics

The Tunnelers Golden Club

You will get the golden nickname of yours in the game and on the website. All the players playing the game will see you are special gamers who have supported Tunnelers and thus should deserve respect! :) Moreover, more features will be added to the Golden Club in the near future, such as special tank skins, ingame points multiplier etc.

Avatar of your choice in the game

Below is the list of already existing avatars in the game. We will create a new in-game unique avatar of your choice, so all the other players will be able to play with the character you have designed!

Or we can create an in-game item that will be placed in the game maps and others will be able to interact with. It is up to you, can be anything from huge statues to infected mushrooms.

Maps

Our boys will get in touch with you and you will help them to design the map that will be included in Tunnelers. You are free to include your own advertisement in here too. Together you will create a new most played map that fits the game best. Also the map name will be of your choice.

Tanks

If you choose to design a new Tunnelers tank, our boys will get in touch with you and you will lead them to make it happen. This tank will be named after you. All the players who will ever play the game will be able to play with it.
