Young artist accepted to Joffrey Ballet school summer training program seeking funding.
I am a semi-professional dancer in my third year at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance where I am pursuing a BFA in Dance. Along with performing at the University, I have performed with local artists including Owen/Cox Dance Group, Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Company and internationally with MOVE: the company in British Columbia. I have been awarded a full tuition scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive Program to study ballet and modern dance from July 12th-August 8th. This is a fantastic opportunity for my professional development, but I do not have sufficient funds for housing and basic living expenses (food, transportation, etc.).
