I am recording my first EP CD, "The Journey". Please support my music by pre-purchasing the CD and help to fund my project!
Hi! I am Gareth Laffely, a 14 year old singer/songwriter/musician - I am going in the studio to record my first EP CD! I have been writing songs and making music since the age of 5. Music is my passion - I write songs from the heart and sing and play from my soul. I create music to help people - to have a positive impact in the listener's life.
I currently work with Hospice using my music to help with end of life transition. My music video "Move On" was made to help raise Cancer awareness and I have been donating all proceeds from that CD to Cancer.
I am very excited about this new project! I will be going into the studio with award winning, Grammy nominated, producer Robert White Johnson, who wrote "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" for Celine Dion. Robert has worked with such greats as; Celine Dion, Michael Bolton, Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special. Our plan is to record 5 of my original songs (more if we exceed our target goal-the more money we raise, the more songs we can record). We will be using Nashville's best A team musicians in the studio to help lend their magic to the CD! So here is where you come in. You can help me make my project a reality by pre-purchasing my CD and/or contributing towards my goal of $6,000. The money from this Kickstarter project will cover paying for studio time, musicians, back ground vocals, engineering, artwork and production of the CD.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Risks and challenges on this project are getting all the musicians schedules together for the studio. Our musicians are available by mid December when we would like to get the recording done. So we really need your help to get the word out to everyone you know - Anyone who might be interested in participating.
