***UPDATE***

We've reached our goal of raising $10,000 with 14 days to go! I'm so excited to get into the studio and start recording some of these new songs! I can't thank you enough for believing in me and your support in helping us create more music.

We are so thrilled with what we've been able to raise so far that we've decided to try to record a full album instead of a 5-song EP and we are RAISING OUR GOAL TO $20,000 by Nov 30th!

We'd love to record additional songs for a full album and anything we can raise over our initial goal will get us closer to recording a full album instead of an EP.

Even pledging as little as $5 will still get you a copy of the full album and all of the exclusive downloads and updates we'll be posting on Kickstarter.com.

***Initial Project Description***

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Garen, lead singer and songwriter of Kill the Alarm.

For the past 12 years I have toured across the country multiple times, slept on countless floors, played tons of living rooms, graced many a college party, and hit every cool music venue in between. All along the way I was lucky enough to get to meet some of the most amazing people who believed in what I was doing and have always supported me.

It has always been you guys that have helped me get to that where I am now, and I am counting on you now more than ever to help me continue to make music.

For the past year and a half, you have undoubtedly been enjoying the sultry sounds from the debut Kill the Alarm album. Including your favorites such as Sit Up, Fire Away, and Shout It Out Loud. -- Well, now it's time for more.

Over the next 6 Weeks, I need your help to raise $10,000 to record my next record.

With your support, I will be able to record a 5-song EP with some of the newest songs I've written this year. If you've seen a live show recently you may have heard one or two of these hot new MammaJammas that I've been playing. Songs like "Not the Only One" or "Nothing More than Strangers".

In exchange for your ridiculously generous pledges, not only will you help me record these songs, you'll have exclusive access to updates & videos during the entire process as well as other insane prizes ;)

The prizes range from a digital copy of the EP, to a full band concert for you and your friends, or a day in the studio with moi. While there are different levels of pledges, ALL OF YOU will be part of the success of this project and will help me bring this music to life. However, If we don't raise the full $10,000 by Nov 30th, I will get nothing, you will not be charged, no one gets their prizes, and I may not be able to record these songs.

If we can raise more than our initial goal, I can even afford to do some more amazing things: like record more songs, make them sound even more incredible, and maybe even go on tour!
