Just dropping in to let you know that we are in the mixing stage of the EP. Yessiree... That means that if you take a really long deep whiff... you should start to smell the soft subtle aroma of the new KTA EP. You smell it??? Wait... you actually took a whiff you weirdos???  hahahaha I kid. I whiffed too.

To say I am excited for you all to hear it would be an understatement. This was a long process which took through many, many hills and valleys along the way. From Day 1 I had a clear vision for the sound of these songs, but, having ALL of the success or failure resting completely on my shoulders being the artist, songwriter, and producer, did not make it an easy undertaking.  The hardest part was surrounding myself with the right people who understand the end goal, and more importantly, have the right musical feel to reach it. There were many times I wanted to throw in the towel. At my "wits end" as they say. But I trucked through.  There were times I wanted to throw my computer out the window. But I trucked through.  Recording is a master science like karate, and after this year, I am a Sen Say (Mr. Miyagi, watch yer back... Karate Kid, go win DWTS).  Imagine constantly staring at everything you do and who are with a 1000x magnifying glass. Guaranteed you are going to find flaws. Many more than anyone else would ever even notice or they'd call you crazy for even thinking. You ARE your own worst critic and that's the truth. And I put myself through the ringer. I am glad to say I came out on the other side.

I'll be doing a livestream in the near future to answer any and all questions regarding everything from this EP recording, to live shows, to new songs, cover suggestions to how thick I like my spaghetti sauce and everything in between.

Just wanted to wrap up the campaign by thanking all of you for your very generous pledges. I can't wait to get started recording these new songs for you. Over the next couple of weeks, I will be putting some finishing touches on a lot of my new stuff and exploring some new ideas that come up every day. When I feel they are ready, I'll probably settle on the set of songs that I will end up recording. I am super excited to get the ball in motion.

We've reached our goal of raising $10,000 with 14 days to go! I'm so excited to get into the studio and start recording some of these new songs! I can't thank you enough for believing in me and your support in helping us create more music.

We are so thrilled with what we've been able to raise so far that we've decided to try to record a full album instead of a 5-song EP and we are RAISING OUR GOAL TO $20,000 by Nov 30th!

We'd love to record additional songs for a full album and anything we can raise over our initial goal will get us closer to recording a full album instead of an EP.
