Just wanted to wrap up the campaign by thanking all of you for your very generous pledges. I can't wait to get started recording these new songs for you. Over the next couple of weeks, I will be putting some finishing touches on a lot of my new stuff and exploring some new ideas that come up every day. When I feel they are ready, I'll probably settle on the set of songs that I will end up recording. I am super excited to get the ball in motion.

We've reached our goal of raising $10,000 with 14 days to go! I'm so excited to get into the studio and start recording some of these new songs! I can't thank you enough for believing in me and your support in helping us create more music.

We are so thrilled with what we've been able to raise so far that we've decided to try to record a full album instead of a 5-song EP and we are RAISING OUR GOAL TO $20,000 by Nov 30th!

We'd love to record additional songs for a full album and anything we can raise over our initial goal will get us closer to recording a full album instead of an EP.

Even pledging as little as $5 will still get you a copy of the full album and all of the exclusive downloads and updates we'll be posting on Kickstarter.com.

Hey guys,

I'm really excited about how we are doing so far!

I've got some great new material in my back pocket and I am continuously writing every day. I can't wait to get into the studio and get crack-a-lacking on some new tunes.

This is, one, "interpretation" of an Elton John classic. I was able to do record all of this at my apartment here in the east Village, NYC. I hope you dig it.

For the first one, I thought I’d try to record one of the covers we’ve been playing recently that has been getting an overwhelming response from you guys.

Sooooo, I went ahead and recorded the "rock" version of Kanye West's "Heartless" here at home. With the help of my good friends Marc Slutsky on drums and Kyle Paas working some mixing magic, I was able to bring the full band sound onto the recording.

What a slammin start to this campaign.
Thanks so much for jumping right on and being the first wave of fans to donate.

So much to figure out throughout the process from where to record, what songs, producer???, etc....
I am psyched to not have to make ALL of the decisions on my own. I'll keep you updated with some music and goodies throughout the month, so I'll be glad to have your input along the way.

This is gonna be the record you can't put down (and no.... not because there will be glue on the CD) ;P
