Update #6: We couldn't have done it without you...

Posted on April 29, 2010

Over the weekend of April 24th and 25th, we helped make LA a little greener by planting 66 gardens all over the West Los Angeles area! We had 170 garden volunteers plus neighbors, friends and families come together to celebrate fresh local food by taking action and creating gardens as part of the local food community. This is just the beginning of what we can create. Please join our group at http://westsidepermies.ning.com/ to continue to stay involved and inspired. We welcome all support and participation and look forward to the journey ahead!

Update #5: A big round of WOOHOOS...we made it!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Posted on April 22, 2010

With 608 minutes to spare we've arrived above and beyond our goal of $1000 by a generous +25%! And we're SO thankful to our backers who've gotten us here!
Please feel welcome to join us in the our dirt-diggin' fun!: http://www.gardensofgratitude.com/joincrew.html

Update #4: Just another 58 hours to go!

Posted on April 20, 2010

Only 58 hours to go and another $27 dollars and we've made it! That's just...uh...$0.465 cents per hour!

Of course the more money we can bring in the more gardens we can plant, so by all means feel free to contribute even if we reach our goal!

Much thanks again to all of you that have supported our project thus far <3

Update #3: Yippieeeeee!!!!

Posted on April 19, 2010

With just 3 days more to go to reach $1000, and just 5 days to the big Gardens of Gratitude event, we've had another wave of pledgers in the last couple of days bringing us to just $72 within our goal! This is sooooo exciting and motivating!!! It's so very cool to see so many people who are supportive of our micro-project with a big dream!

A HUGE thanks from the volunteers at GoG!

Update #2: Yaaaaay....!!!

Posted on April 15, 2010

Just a week to go and we're now up to $692 with our KickStarter Campaign!!! If we can get just another $308 in the next seven days we'll make it to our goal! Thanks so much to all that have backed us thus far!!!

Update #1: 11 Days to Go - 30% Pledged

Posted on April 11, 2010

We have raised 30% of the $1,000 we need for our 100 Garden Challenge. We have only 11 days left to raise another $700. If we do not raise the $1000 goal, we will not receive any of the funds pledged.

Please help spread the word and share links to our Kickstarter page:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gardensofgratitude/100-garden-challenge-planting-100-edible-gardens

100% of the funds will be used to plant edible gardens for low income families, food kitchens, schools, and other non-profits in our community.

Thank you for supporting Gardens of Gratitude!
