Bleeding Hearts is a multimedia, interactive art installation and interdisciplinary album release event conceived by Futurist. On June 30th, 2011, we will team up with some of New York City's most innovative young artists to present both an interactive walk-through album and interdisciplinary live performance of our first full-length studio album War is Yesterday.

The installation will offer guests a chance to explore each song on our album as an immersive experience. Each of the nine tracks will be assigned to one artist or team, who will then create a multi-sensory, interactive environment around that song within a partitioned space.

The night will culminate in the release and live performance of our album, War is Yesterday. The show will feature interdisciplinary guest performers, audience participation, crazy costumes, and spectacular visual effects.

In addition to being a fantastic occasion for collaboration and community-based arts, this event is going to be one huge party (bar, dancing, games, costumes, etc)! We will also be inviting several amazing bands to perform on the bill.

Your donation will help us out with the many costs associated with putting on an event of this size, including building sets, rigging lights, decorating, costuming, arts-and-crafting, and licensing. For those of you who don’t live in the area or cannot attend the event, funding is also needed to print and press quality albums!
