Hello Kickstarters.
We have some great news, so we have decided to send our regular update out one day early.
The first full production samples are in our office and being tested. We are reviewing and testing everything from charge and sync with different devices and systems to correct spelling on the packaging. We will be working diligently to complete our testing as fast as possible. With that said, enjoy the first production photos below.

Matt - we are working as hard and as fast as we can for testing these. We have a few dozen that are in testing now and another set arriving early next week with a few revisions we already asked for. Once we are able to approve these to start full production, it will only take a few days for them to build the thousands that we need though.

So Jon sent me a dozen of these pre-production samples to get my opinion on them (yeah, I'm the lucky one). These are looking really nice. The box is beautiful. You'll want to keep it. The connection of the connectors to the cable is really nice and stout. Not wimpy like so many charging cables you see out there. I know there is a little more work left in testing and setting up full production, so be patient. These are worth the wait.

@Mark - I'll check to see if that phone was on our testing list. I know we tested a few too port phones and they all worked fine. For the case, it will be dependent on the specific case for specific phone. We have designed the Micro|Caps partially for this reason. We have 1 cap that leaves the top clear with just a short section of the Micro|USB cable sticking out that is similar in size to a standard Micro cable. This should let it stick through most cases.

Those are actually the stacks of unopened Petite Bobines that are sitting in front of the opened boxes. But nice eye to catch that I should have kept Apple on one side and Android on the other. :)

In your testing can you see if it will hold a device like the Razr Maxx in air as shown (since the charging port is on top this is what is driving the question. Also what is a device has a case (like an Otterbox)? is there room for that with the wide connection base?

I'm sad... to see soooo many "une Bobines", all curled up and shiny in their cute, little boxes, ready to be squeezed, shaken, frozen, dropped, pulled apart, maybe even burned... :-O ... or whatever a thorough testing implies ;-). Poor little fellows... I hope some survive... i volunteer to be foster home to some of the survivors (of either gender) Jon :-p Looks great so far! Nice job. Thanx. Ps. don't forget to mark the very first full production "Une Bobine" :-) I wonder who will get that one? :-D
