About this project
We want to raise 2,000 dollars in order to shoot season 2 of our award-winning web series, Funemployed, a comedy about recent college grads struggling with life in the real world. In the last year, this show has gained popularity in Chicago, and its following only continues to grow. But Season 1 wasn't free to make. And now we need some donations to continue funding this hilarious series that's setting a new standard for independent television.
We have many exciting rewards planned for backers, including DVDs, and even the chance to be featured in an upcoming episode!
Funemployed is not just a funny show. It's web-based entertainment, which we believe is the future of television. By supporting our show, you are helping web video step forward. After college, what do you do with your life? Do you reap the benefits of a full time job right away? Do you enter a grad program to stave off the real world for another couple of years? In Funemployed, the award-winning Chicago webseries from Action Couch Productions, Ted and his friends have decided to do neither. They get by with a slacker's opportunism and odd jobs that come and go. Finding themselves in a mess of schemes and awkward situations, this crew deals with no lack of hilarious mishaps while adjusting to life in the real world, all in the midst of a not-so-friendly economy.
Now approaching its second season, Funemployed needs your help! In order to keep the funny coming, we need to raise some money! If you can relate to dealing with the pressures of the real world, if you know what it is to embrace funemployed-ness- heck, if you you breath and laugh on a semi-regular basis- then this show is for you. We want to speak to a generation that needs to laugh. And we want to keep you laughing!
