Hey there awesome people.  Thank you so much for kicking in to support Fruition Chocolate.  We’re overwhelmed by your generosity.  Unfortunately, we didn’t meet our goal in time.  However, we’re moving full speed ahead with getting our business up and running.  We’ll be fully operational by the end of the month, and will be open for retail business sometime this fall.  If you haven’t already done so, please sign up for our mailing list and we’ll keep you up to date.

It's not over until it's over!

We're at 63% of our goal with 1 day left to go.  It's really down to the wire now.

Ways to make this happen:

1. Increase your pledge. Even an extra $5 could give us a needed boost.

2. Spread the word: Facebook. Twitter. Blog. Email. Phone. Real live conversation.

3. Sing a Fruition song or do a little chocolate dance to pray to the chocolate gods.

Either way, we are excited to share our chocolate project with you, and thank you so much for your support!

Fruition has a home!

Update #7 · Jul 6, 2011 · comment

Fruition Chocolate Works and Confectionery is coming to Shokan, New York! For those of you who don’t know Shokan, it’s about 10 minutes from Woodstock.  If you don’t know Woodstock, then think peace, love, and music, and it might ring a bell.  We signed the lease this past Friday on a production and retail space that’s about 1600 square feet. Always a good idea to leave room to grow.

Saturday was all about scrubbing.  We said goodbye to two years of dust and grime. Sunday was day one of the paint job.  It was great to have my dad stop by to lend a hand with the roller.  On Monday, we had two good friends, Susannah and Garett, come by to help out with paint in the morning, and my parents came by with the power washer in the evening.  The last couple of days we’ve been on our own, but managing to make significant progress.

Anyhow, it’s really getting down to the wire with only a few days left to meet our Kickstarter goal. The only way to make this happen is if we get more pledges.  So, we’ll nag you one last time. Please tell some friends about this project.  If each of you could get just one or two people to kick in, we may make it.  Then, you will get your chocolate rewards, and we will be able to kickstart our project by getting the specialized equipment we need and working with amazing artists to design molds and packaging.  Let’s take this to the next level.

Thanks,

Bryan

Hey Kickstarters,

We're overwhelmed by the incredible support!  There are less than 10 days left to go.  We need all of you awesome backers to tweet about it, post about it, talk about it, and then some.  Let's kickstart this project for real.  Let's hit 75% of our goal by July 4th.  I'm sure America will thank you (we will too).

If you haven't seen our newsletter yet, check it out, and subscribe so that you can keep up to date with what's happening.

Thanks,

Bryan
