Fruition
Chocolate Works and Confectionery is coming to Shokan, New York! For
those of you who don’t know Shokan, it’s about 10 minutes from
Woodstock. If you don’t know Woodstock, then think peace, love, and
music, and it might ring a bell. We
signed the lease this past Friday on a production and retail space
that’s about 1600 square feet. Always a good idea to leave room to
grow.
Saturday
was all about scrubbing. We said goodbye to two years of dust and
grime.
Sunday was day one of the paint job. It was great to have my dad stop
by to lend a hand with the roller. On Monday, we had two good friends,
Susannah and Garett, come by to help out with paint in the morning, and
my parents came by with the power washer in the evening. The last
couple of days we’ve been on our own, but managing to make significant
progress.
Anyhow, it’s
really getting down to the wire with only a few days left to meet our
Kickstarter goal. The only way to make this happen is if we get more
pledges. So, we’ll nag you one last time. Please tell some friends
about this project. If each of you could get just one or two people to
kick in, we may make it. Then, you will get your chocolate rewards,
and we will be able to kickstart our project by getting the specialized
equipment we need and working with amazing artists to design molds and
packaging. Let’s take this to the next level.
Thanks,
Bryan
