About this project
The "October House" Promotional Video ( see it on IMDb at http://www.imdb.com/video/wab/vi921241113/ ) is a supplement Trailer to the "October House" Theatrical Trailer ( see it on IMDb at http://www.imdb.com/video/wab/vi703137305/) intended to help raise awareness of the project. With this Kickstarter Project page, we hope to raise funds to film a prequel short film 30 minutes in length and submit the short to Film Festivals around the globe. The full length feature film script is complete and ready to go into pre-production. In the long term, our intention at Eyes To The Soul Productions is to use the awareness generated by this Kickstarter funded short film's exposure at various Film Festivals to help raise additional funds in the future to make the full-length feature film a paid SAG project.
Thus far, we have worked hard building the groundwork for this project. Kameron King has written both a full-length feature film script and the 30 minute short film script, which we will use to film this project. We have produced two different Theatrical Trailers and one Promotional Trailer. We would like to begin filming in October of 2010...fitting don't ya think?
For our shoot, we will need funding to provide meals for all cast and crew, equipment rental beyond what C-G Productions already owns, special effects...a lot of them, insurance...hopefully, we won't need it, construction materials to build contraptions used in film...Da Vinci would be proud, etc.
From update # 1 posted on August 12, 2010 regarding funding for this project...
"This fundraising campaign for this Project, "October House" and other projects we at Eyes To The Soul Productions have in mind like "Old People in Big Cars", Episode #1 of "The Adventures of Mable" (we plan to remake this first film we did into an episodic series) are to raise money so that Eyes To The Soul can pay quality people for Quality work...like C-G Productions, the separate production company who, through the kindness of their hearts have worked for free thus far on our projects. Neither Terrie Batson, Kameron King or Greg Frucci of Eyes To The Soul Productions will be paid or compensated monetarily in any way for these projects right now. I do not expect to see any sort of return on our investment of time and our own money, until we start producing a fully funded feature, which will not happen until after we make this short prequel and generate awareness at film festivals.
We want to pay C-G Productions, the make-up people, the special effects people, insurance, food and drink while we shoot, rental equipment and all costs associated with these productions through marketing materials and film festival fees. Again, Eyes To The Soul will not be paid at all, nor will we see any profit from the production of this project we have on Kickstarter.
We want to make great films full of artistic quality and I want the people who have stood by us to get paid for their work...they have worked hard and for free up to this point.
We want to go through the same fundraising process with "Old People in Big Cars" next...within 30 days to launch a campaign.
I am putting this in writing for all to see...we want to make this film a great one! Can you help us out?"

The eldest son of a US Marine Corps fighter pilot, Greg Frucci was born in the US Naval Hospital, Beaufort, SC in 1960. Greg worked as an Architect for over 20 years after receiving a cum laude degree in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University in 1984. He lived and worked on the Outer Banks of NC and San Francisco, CA working as an Architect, then moved to Wilmington, NC where he discovered film as his greatest professional passion. Greg now does both, designing on the side while focusing mostly on the art of film making. Greg also has experience as a Lead Actor and Supporting Actor in films such as “The Waters”, "PCP...A VanGuard Chronicle", "Undoing Time" ( which won the “Audience Choice Award for Best TV Pilot” at the 2008 Cinema City International Film Festival orgainized by Suzanne Delaurnetiis in Hollywood) and various other projects. Other than acting, Greg's interests are surfing, skydiving, martial arts, camping and just about anything outside.
