Candles in Production, Printing Under Way!

I'm updating here not so much because tons of new stuff has happened, but just to keep you in the loop since I think about you everyday. You are totally the juice behind my work week!
CANDLES IN PRODUCTION
I am working on molds and working on making candles to fulfill your rewards! Right now I am up to about 80 candles a day but my goal is to get that number up to 500.
I've begun stocking my Etsy shop with candles and will continue to do so as I make new molds and candle sets.

PRINTED MATERIALS + PACKAGING
Things are moving a little slower with some of the file preparation than I anticipated but once a few tiny glitches are resolved, the printing press will start rolling.
I recently spoke with Joey Bordenga at Mama's Sauce and he said our stuff (poster + postcard) are going to look so awesome screenprinted and letterpressed. Because the postcard will only be printed on one side, he is going to really press hard so there is no mistaking your postcard for a giclee print!
The postcard will print on Colorplan Citrine paper. Apparently, this is some sexy paper previously only available in the UK.
Washi tape file is all done and I am doing some back and forth with the printer. Who is in China. This is going smoother than anticipated but now I am figuring out how to get the tape here from China. The shipping charge is huge but hopefully I will have some options.
PRESS
Last night a post went up on Bob Vila's Blog about my shop--cake stands and candle Kickstarter included.
This week, I spotted the top handle of a cake stand in a WSJ piece on a Fresh Pastry Stand customer-- Oat Meals in NYC. You have to have eagle eyes to spot it, but I do. Yeah, this really isn't FPS press, but I am proud of my cake stands!
Right now I am working on getting my candles in front of bloggers who I think will LOVE them. Will keep you posted if anything solid manifests.
MARTHA STEWART
I entered my shop in Martha Stewart's American Made contest. On September 7th they will announce the 50-100 finalists out of the 3600+ entries. I'm hoping to be a contender! Below I posted the video submission, edited from my KS video. Again, thanks to Eric Yufeng Zheng for doing the original video and thanks to JS Capalletti for quickly editing the vid down to 1 minute and taking out the KS references.
