Update #16: 100% Translated!

Posted on December 24, 2009

An early Christmas gift ... The Amazon Mechanical Turk workers have successfully translated Moby Dick into Emoji. Three times. For a total of 28,407 emoji sentences. It took 9 days.

Next, I'm going to convert these results into a new set of Mechanical Turk tasks where individuals will asked to pick the best out of 3. I'll try and get this done in the next week or so.

Once that's done, I'll compile it into a "edited" version and then we'll be one step closer to a printed book.

Happy Holidays!

F
