Update #28: Award Winning Director

Posted on May 27, 2011

Awaiting collection:

It was only with the money I received from kickstarter that I was able to enter the Mexico International Film Festival. So in effect, without Kickstarter, I would not have won this award! My sincerest thanks to everyone who supported this film!

Hopefully my next film, 'Derelict', will garner the same kind of success!

Update #27: New Beginnings.

Posted on May 24, 2011

Hi All,

Been a long while! Just to let you know that 140 recently won the Bronze Palm Award at the Mexico International Film Festival! Which was great news. Very excited about that.

Also what to let you know that I'm back up on Kickstarter with a new project, a feature film that I'm hoping to shoot in September of this year. Check it out here: http://kck.st/iLoYWC if you feel like contributing once again you know it will be appreciated!

Thanks all. Take care.

Best

Frank

Update #24: New Festival

Posted on September 26, 2010

I can finally announce, and I am very happy and proud to do so, that 140 has been Officially Selected as part of this year Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis.

I'm very excited about this. I think I've mentioned my relationship with Heartland before, but just in case you don't know - I won a Crystal Heart Award in 2006 for Emily's Song, Bill, For Short was an Official Selection in 2008 and of course, it's where I met Maryann, my wife. She was the film programmer in 2006, so if I hadn't been selected, won the award and gone, we never would have met, fell in love, got married and had Evelyn! So you can see why I have a strong connection and appreciation of the festival!
