As of this morning, thanks to YOU, Refuge has become a reality! Due to the generosity and support of friends, family, and strangers alike, we went above and beyond our fundraising goal! We want to stay in touch with all of you, and will try and post updates as often as possible, but now comes the exciting but exhausting process of putting together the exhibition! So we encourage all of you to join our mailing list at www.forbyfor.org

Though our inagural exhibition has the necessary funding, please do not stop spreading the word. As you may or may not know, we are a young organization, and do not have endowments or trustess to help us achieve our future goals and exhibitions. Your continued support will allow us to continue to organize exhibitions that will provide valuable funding to important causes throughout the world. To allow us to be a tax-deductible organization, we have a wonderful fiscal sponsor. We are incredibly excited to announce that we have reached our Kickstarter fundraising goal. Thank you all so very much for everything you have given, both in funds and moral support. We have been so thankful for the amazing outpouring of generosity from friends, family, and even kind strangers. We are now breathing much more easily with the knowledge that our inaugural exhibition refuge: the photography of RaMell Ross is now fully funded and will definitely take place this June.

Please do not stop spreading the word. We still have 14 more days to raise money on Kickstarter, and we would love to see even more generosity before the end of those two weeks. From this moment onward, every cent given will not only ensure that we can fund our first project, but also continue to organize exhibitions that will provide valuable funding to important causes throughout the world. As a young organization, we do not have endowments or trustees to help us achieve our future, we have you and your incredible support. We are depending on you.
