I think it makes sense to push them as a trilogy or nothing. People should know whether they're interested just from the Kickstarter description, and if they're interested in book one, they're probably interested in books one to three. That said, it's probably still a good idea to have a lower-level pledge level, you tend to see people chipping in there with projects without wanting any of the rewards, and every little helps.

Makes no difference to me, though... you had me at "a trio of thrillers set in the largest gaming convention in this hemisphere".

You rock, Matt. Keep them coming as time allows, and remember, the goal is the story, not each individual date's deadline! A few days either way during the year on an individual one won't be an issue. At least 1 of your backers/readers (me!) won't mind a bit of randomness to the deadlines for such great content :)

Excellent question! I think lowering the goal helped people have confidence we'd unlock all three books. Then the momentum from that kept us going. I honestly didn't think we manage it. I'm stunned.

Haha, you managed to get over 12k even after you lowered the goal to 10k. Do you think lowering the goal helped get people to pledge more or would it have been similar either way?

I'd love to see that option for the BNW books, too.

I'll consider it. At the moment, we're actually on the same track we were during the first drive. At 8 days in, we had less money than we do now. However, this is a shorter drive, so theres that to consider. At 17 days out (the other side of the coin), we were up to $5,800, but a large chunk of that came from one backer who put up $1,000. We took in well over half our money in the final week with that though, so I think we still have a good shot.

just concerned you aren't going to get enough funding to unlock the 2nd or 3rd book, and I would like to see that happen. Figured it may be a way to generate some extra funding, and help those like me who missed out on the first drive.

I'd have to think about that. I wouldn't want to add a new set of tiers to the reward levels, as we have enough of them already. Also, I want to make sure that the folks that backed the first drive don't ever feel like they're getting shortchanged.

Now, I will be publishing those books soon after the first backers get their copies, so you (and anyone else who wants to) will have a chance to get them then. Is that enough?

any chance of a pledge level that would include the Brave New World books from your first kickstarter? May be a simple way to add a little more funding for this campaign.

Good question. It's anywhere outside of the US. A quick look tells me that shipping to Canada costs an extra $5 or so, depending on the weight, which I don't know for sure yet. I put down $10 in the listing because it was far simpler than coming up with a rate chart for all possible destinations. Feel free to make it $5 extra to Canada instead.

For clarity, what counts as International, shipping wise? Outside of USA, or outside of North America?
