Hello there Ghost Mallrats!

I have excellent news! As of today, January 15th, 2010, our Kickstarter project is fully funded!

Give yourselves a round of applause, a pat on the back etc. etc.

But this is far from over.

Like I said in the last update, if we get to 1500 dollars before February 19th, there will be more rewards for every level of contribution.

This is very exciting. Wow. You are all amazing.

Hello again,

Yeah, you did just get an update like 2 days ago but we have more things to tell you!

The record is getting finished on Tuesday! Then it gets mixed and all that jazz. It will be five songs now. Not six like we may have said at some point.

Also, in keeping with the age-old mantra "Good bros do good bros good, bro." (Not gay sex.) Our good bros Curse the Mariner have started their own Kickstarter in an effort to finish their record. It will change slightly as we book shows. If you know anyone in the state we are playing, give them a heads up; GHOST MALL IS COMING TO TOWN. We're like Santa but less skilled in entering chimneys.

I have no idea when the acoustic session is coming out.

Also, the record is coming out in February. It is tentatively titled "Bruce Springsteen, Please Listen to This"

So this has been completely and utterly fantastic. We have gotten such an intense show of support from all of you. We encourage you to show us off to any friends you have that might dig us, and if they feel strongly enough to even give one dollar we will be eternally grateful.

Some things to look forward to:

-Ghost Mall Acoustic Session from October will probably be available soon on Friendly Neighborhood Records!

-The Ghost Mall debut record will be 6 SONGS! Not just 4! How do you like them apples?

-A route will be planned out once classes are over. Expect another update about that around December 11.

WOW!

It has been only 3 days! 3 days and we are 49.5% of the way to our goal!

This is incredible. I had no doubt that we would get a good response but I had no idea that it was going to be this good.

We started this band by accident but it has quickly grown into one of the things I love most about my life. I can't speak for everyone in that regard but I'm sure they feel similarly.

If there is anything that we can do to make this experience any better for you, please let us know. If there is something that you'd like added to the rewards that we hadn't thought of, please let us know.
