New from Flit's Funporium: THE END IS NIGH!

-About the Game

The End is Nigh is fun and simple card game. It is the first (but certainly not the last) from the brilliant and somewhat chaotic minds of us here at Flit's Funporium!

The End is Nigh is a game for up to 6 players. Using three different types of cards (Descriptor, Subject, and Disaster), you create your hand or "Apocalypse" of up to four cards. An Apocalypse can use ONE Descriptor card, TWO Subject cards, and ONE Disaster card. Cards can be played on your own Apocalypse or on another player's Apocalypse.

Each card has it's own score, with some cards having two possible scores, depending on where within the Apocalypse it is placed. 

A fourth type of card, Event card, can be played to change card points, force players to discard cards in play, swap hands, reshuffle the discard deck back into the draw deck, and more.

Some cards fall into one of five categories: Human, Nature, Magic, Medical, and Science. These cards have the opportunity to be worth more or fewer points depending on what event cards are in play.

There's one very special card! THE END IS NOW! Once this card is drawn, the game is over! All players put their hands down and the scores are tallied. Whoever has the highest score is the winner!

-About the Project (What are you paying for)

The money raised by this Kickstarter will go towards paying for the production and shipping cost of getting the cards printed through Delano Service. Some money will go to pay the graphic designer for their design services. Any additional money made will go towards making our stretch goals, as outlined below!

T-SHIRT

Some goals also include a custom made T-Shirt as the reward. Included here is the tentative design for the shirts, subject to change!

Stretch Goal 1 - $10,000 - Blank cards

If we make $10,000, then we will be able to include 20 BLANK cards, several of each type, that you will be able to write on to include your own words, names, friends, ideas, and so on! Customize your game! At this level the blank cards will be included in the main deck (making it a potentially 120 card deck).

ALL REWARD LEVELS THAT INCLUDE RECEIVING A DECK WILL GET THIS NEW EXPANDED DECK AS THEIR REWARD!!

Stretch Goal 2 - $12,000 - Small expansion

At $12,000 we will be able to produce a small secondary expansion pack of 70 cards, which will include the 20 blank cards as well as 50 additional cards. These will come in two decks: one main deck of 100, and one expansion of 70 additional cards.

You will get new Descriptors, Subjects and Disaster types such as:

Explosive - Presidential - Reanimated - Bunny - Lifeguard - Motorcycle - Buddhist - Death Match - Extinction - Cuddle Pile - Evisceration - Cuddle Pile

And many more!

This will increase the number of maximum players from 6-8, so you can accommodate larger groups of people, or simply make the game last a little longer.

ALL REWARD LEVELS THAT INCLUDE RECEIVING A DECK WILL GET BOTH THE MAIN DECK AS WELL AS THE EXPANSION PACK AS YOUR REWARD!

Stretch Goal 3 - $15,000 - Blank cards and Full Expansion pack

At this level we can really make more stuff!! At this amount we will be able to create a main deck of 120 cards (the standard 100 plus 20 blank cards) as well as a full expansion deck of 100 more cards to play with! that's over 200 CARDS TO PLAY WITH! Using all 200+ will increase the number of maximum players to 12. Or you could pick and choose 100 cards (a set amount from each type) and have a different game every time! Or split the decks into two (randomized or not) and have two completely different games going at once! Or make up any number of combinations with the cards.

ALL REWARD LEVELS THAT INCLUDE RECEIVING A DECK WILL GET BOTH THE MAIN DECK AS WELL AS THE EXPANSION PACK AS YOUR REWARD!

Stretch Goal 4 - ???

If we get closer to this point, I will come up with some other really cool ideas? Maybe double the number of decks for rewards? Maybe decks offered as rewards for lower donation levels? Maybe T-shirts with "The End is Nigh" logo or the Flit's Funporium logo? We will see!!
