RELIEF HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!

Thanks for checking out our Kickstarter project! We're very excited to bring you Flip Slips, which are foldable, self-containable Mary Jane shoes. Our goal is to create a collection of Flip Slips in various colors and styles and with your help, get them to where they need to be: women’s feet and purses.

We are offering the shoes at an amazing 55% discount price before they hit stores! These shoes will retail starting at $45. Flip Slips make a great stocking stuffer and our goal is to get the shoes to you just in time for the holidays! 

What exactly are Flip Slips?

Flip Slips are Mary Jane flats that fold in half and reverse into their own pouch for dirty soles. They were designed to be compact so that an extra pair of comfortable shoes can be conveniently carried inside a small purse or a pocket when relief is needed from high-heels and uncomfortable shoes.

Each Flip Slip is about the size of an iPhone and can easily fit into a small purse, a coat pocket, suitcase or a glove box.

All orders come fully packaged with an expandable tote to store your other shoes in.

In 2009 after being laid off from my job due to the recession, I was having a hard time finding work so I decided to pursue my dream of starting a foldable shoe company. Along with the help of friends, family and the San Francisco community, I has been working hard on this project for over two years and have everything in place needed to get started making shoes.

There are two high quality factories that make Flip Slips: one in Los Angeles that makes small custom orders, and a larger scale factory in China. Small orders were produced at both factories to test manufacturing capabilities and make sure the best quality product was delivered to Flip Slip customers.

I'm here today on Kickstarter, because I can't do this without YOU! I appreciate you so much for helping me to make this huge dream a reality.

Design the next Flip Slips: Work with the Inventor and a Footwear Designer to create a new strap, upper, instep and outsole. You’ll get to name the new Flip Slips and we’ll promote you on our website. If you have always wanted to design shoes and learn about a footwear start-up business, we’ll work with you to develop a prototype from your design concept. Includes finished samples.
