Just want to make sure everyone is aware of the new art direction of Mars Needs Milk. My brother Tyler is a very talented illustrator and there is a major difference between the original prototype images, and the much more finalized artwork. This game is quickly transforming from a game to interactive art.

WHAT IS MARS NEEDS MILK?

Mars Needs Milk is a fast paced, physics based puzzler for mobile devices. Players will control a UFO using the accelerometer in their device to abduct unsuspecting bovine and collect as many milk bubbles along the way. The game will include many unique levels and UFO's with different abilities as well as unlockable content.This is your chance to support a truly unique game and earn some great rewards while doing it.

WHY ARE WE ABDUCTING COWS AGAIN?

In Mars Needs Milk you play the role of an alien that has been imprisoned at Area 51 since the Roswell incident. His mission was to gather milk and abduct as many cows as possible. He finally escapes and with your help can complete his mission and outrun the secret agents.

YOU MENTIONED UNLOCKABLES?

Yes! There will be many unlockables including new ships, new levels, score multipliers, and more! We are very excited about unlockable ships because each will have unique abilities and a unique and somewhat familiar look. Initial concepts include plans for the "bicentennial hawk" and "independence day". The starter ship is called the "weather balloon" from area 51.

WHAT HAZARDS WILL THE COW BALL FACE?

There are many hazards that the cow may encounter during its trip through the maze. Initial concepts include angry clouds, spinning hay-hooks, and mashing meat grinders. All of which will needlessly destroy your "cow ball" if given the opportunity.

WHEN WILL MARS NEEDS MILK BE AVAILABLE?

Right now we are aiming for a November Launch. The core gameplay is complete and now work is beginning on all of the levels, bonuses, and graphics that will be necessary to provide an amazing game. There is still quite a bit of work that needs to go into this project before it is completed, and with your help, we know it will be incredible.

We have been fascinated with developing games since the first time we played Super Mario Brothers. Since then we have been working on several ideas that we want to bring to life to provide a unique experience and the fun that comes from playing games. We truly believe that Mars Needs Milk will provide this unique experience and this is your opportunity to be a part of it.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

In order to provide the best product possible, it is necessary to have the correct hardware and software. This includes access to the Game Center on iOS and the ability to monetize unlockables(If you donate enough to earn a free copy of the game these will all be unlocked in your version). If we meet our funding goal we are planning to publish for as many devices as possible. We also would love to have the opportunity to reward those who help get this game off of the ground!
