Hi everyone!

Thank you all so much for your contributions and making this campaign a success!  We even passed our goal of $6500 and are now at $6854. 

You are now not only a backer, but an ambassador of "House Devil, Street Angel."  And it would be fantastic if we could go even further past our goal. Again, all of the funds will go toward finishing funds and the discussion guide. So, an easy thing to do would be to ask 5 friends, via email or Facebook, to kick-in a few dollars.  Most importantly, this will extend our reach to a wider audience, even if it doesn't generate a ton of money.

Speaking of audiences, don't forget to "like" our page on Facebook.

Yesterday we submitted a grant to the Fledgling Fund, and it looked fantastic thanks to contributions from Nancy Schwartzman - Project Advisor & Consultant, Kelly Anderson  - now our Executive Producer, Sam Feder - Producer and Sheila Aminmadani - Outreach. It was also shaped by input from a conversation with Joe Samalin of Men Can Stop Rape.

The Fledgling Fund offers grants to social issue films primarily for outreach and community engagement.  And our engagement platform is based on the concept of using facilitated public screenings to spark intergenerational dialogues - in order to be a 'critical lever' in the shift toward a feminist or progressive masculinity.

Also, a journalist from the NY Daily News stopped by today and did a two hour long interview with me, as well as my mom and Noam. The article should come out on Friday. (Noam is here for the holiday and my mom, Sheryl, came up from Philly to hang with Noam today as I'm going in for urgent eye surgery. Yikes!)
