First Impressions is an original full-length film based on "Pride and Prejudice" produced by independent filmmakers in Southern Oregon.
We are a group of enthusiastic young filmmakers, and First Impressions is our inaugural project. In short, First Impressions is a feature length film based on the book “Pride and Prejudice” by Jane Austen. It has a unique combination of period and modern scenes, which brings much of the story and its morals to life in a special way.
We strive to make every aspect of this film as economical as possible: not wasting money when it doesn’t need to be spent, and spending it wisely when it does. However, even with well planned financial decisions, projects of this size still require a significant investment. A couple examples of typical expenses would be things like travel expenses, camera and lighting equipment, and food for our cast and crew.
You can assist us by pledging any amount of money, from one dollar to one thousand! In return you will receive several different rewards. You have the chance to sponsor your favorite character or crew member, which means your name will be next to theirs in the movie credits. Along with your tangible rewards, you will be helping young filmmakers and actors grow in their skills, while completing this wonderful project.
