CONGRATULATIONS!!!
THE FORCE IS WITH US!!
Any monies raised beyond our production costs. We will donate to the DoSomething.org against violence and bullying
Be a part of this 6 episode fictional Star Wars Fan Film Web series and help us make this great script a reality and fund us, so we can get out our anti-bullying message!
This campaign is ALL or Nothing, if we don't reach our goal by the funding deadline we get nothing and we don't want to let these talented young actors/Star Wars fans down!
Jedi Camp is a project I've been developing for many years, and with the support of crowd-funding, I finally hope to produce the six episode web series in summer 2012.
The series follows a group of young "Star Wars" fans, who embark on an adventure filled summer at the first ever sleep-away camp for Jedi. Throughout their summer, they'll learn the ways of the Force and be tested by the Dark Side. When the youngest camper, Lucas discovers he has the Power of the Force, it enables him to conquer his fears and defeat his bully.
What makes this project different from many Star Wars Fan films is this web series deals with the issue of bullying and how a group of young children deal with the implications of bullying. We believe using Star Wars as a theme will entice both adults and kids to watch a series with this important message. If you or a loved one were ever bullied growing up, this project is one you should help fund.
We're excited to showcase the performances of some very talented young actors starring in the series, who are also huge Star Wars fans. The series also stars Leah Cevoli (Robot Chicken) and Camden Toy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). We've been in talks with the Southern California 501st, the Official Star Wars costuming group to do cameos in the series. As we build momentum with this campaign, we continue to reach out to name "Star Wars" actors to participate in the series.
We're offering some unique limited edition perks, plus I will be offering rare "Star Wars" collectibles from my personal collection, dating back to the original trilogy, throughout the campaign.
We appreciate any pledge level amount to help us in our efforts to produce Jedi Camp.

We've also been emailed and asked by many if this is a "REAL" camp, it is not...However with the knowledge and connections we've made in researching this web series, maybe next summer we could create a real camp for kids to learn the ways of the Jedi, here in Los Angeles.
