Hey all! I just wanted to send out a note to let you know that if you were interested in the Kickstarter to fund a full year of Fireside as a subscription website and ebook, it ends on Tuesday.
We still have a good ways to go, but I am optimistic we will sprint to success!
If it funds, each Year Two issue will have two flash fiction stories, a short story, an episode of a serial fiction experiment by Chuck Wendig, and artwork by Galen Dara. Pablo Defendini is redesigning our website with a focus on simplicity and on readability on screens of any size.

This is it. The big reveal. We are aiming high: if our Kickstarter succeeds, we'll be relaunching on July 1 as a monthly website and ebook, each with two pieces of flash fiction, one short story, one part of a 12-episode fiction experiment by Chuck Wendig, and artwork by Galen Dara (who created the stunning picture below for our Kickstarter -- available as a reward!).

Hey everyone, I'm happy to finally announce that we have a definitive date for the Kickstarter to put Fireside on a better footing: Feb. 4, one week from today.
We're going to reveal all the details on launch day, but we can say that this plan will keep Fireside going for a year. There are a lot of changes, including a few experiments that we are very excited about. We'll be sending out a note to everyone as soon as we launch next Monday.
