If we reach $6,000 we will be able to add pages to the book so you can also read about Finn's day in Cambridge! While in London, he had to make a trip to Cambridge and help a punting boat named Grace. You will definitely want to hear about his day punting, visiting Kings College, going to the top of the cathedral's tower in beautiful Cambridge! Vote with a small contribution today.

My wife Danielle and I have worked with military children at Army, Air Force and Navy Youth Centers for the last 15 years. Over the years while working closely with kids and families we have truly understood how hard it is for children as they move base to base.  Danielle actually knew this struggle first hand as she grew up an Army brat in Germany and moved many times. Come to think of it, my family moved 5 times before I was 7 and it was not fun! Last year we had a vision of a creative, new way that we could help children as they move or travel around the world with their families.

That idea was “Finn’s Journey”. 

We will need at least $2,300 to make a nice full color book, so we are coming to Kickstarter to raise the funds to pay for this. Thanks for your time and please consider pledging to help fund this project. If you'd like to keep up with this project and our work we'll be posting updates here:

Parents and grandparents- can you imagine a child who is more interested in family vacations, engaged in reading and learning?? Finn's Journey might get you there and we hope you will be a part of this project with endless possibilities!  The next step is to find a contribution level you feel comfortable with. Call To Action

For those who are new to Kickstarter, this is a really cool website that allows you to fund then follow creative projects and be a part of a community of supporters who believe in the project.  We have researched and found we need to raise AT LEAST 2,300 dollars in 30 days which equates to a “community” of about 100 people pledging $25 each. Anything over that amount will ensure our continued success.  We won’t get any of the money pledged unless we reach our goal and no one is charged until the goal is 100% met. Basically it's all or nothing! 

Support US Military Youth

You can select to pay for an eBook to be donated to a military child for a special price of $5 or a hardcover book to a child for $17! This is a new option based on a potential "backer's" suggestion:)

For each pledge over $60 a book and shirt can also be given to a child of a US military service member who has just moved to England to help them learn about London and their new home. Your name will be written inside as the person making this pledge possible. If you would like to give the gift on behalf of someone else just shoot a message stating so. 

Support the US Olympic Team's Kids 

You can select to pay for an eBook to be donated to an Olympic child for a special price of $5 or a hardcover book for $17! This is a new option based on a potential "backer's" suggestion:)

Character Bios

Finn    An adventuresome, active, experiential 7 year old boy who loves to have a good time and learn about new things. Much to his surprise, his new bicycle needs his help to solve mysteries and problems around the world. Finn's experience will help you see the world through new eyes and let you know that traveling the world isn't as scary or difficult as you might think. 

Spoke   This smart bicycle is able to fool everyone, except Finn, into thinking he is an ordinary bicycle. Little did they know that Spoke is a Secret Agent for IOTA. Spoke is a loyal friend and wise life guide for Finn as they explore this world. He is the “Hobbs” to Finn’s “Calvin”.

IOTA   The International Organization of Transport Agents is a TOP SECRET (can’t believe we’re actually telling you even this much!) group of vehicles bound by the common goal of assisting those in need. Spoke has been a trusty agent for IOTA for years and has worked his way up to high rank. That is about all that can be shared with you about this secret organization.

Lucy   Lucy is a double decker bus from London who is the focus of Spoke’s urgent call from IOTA Headquarters. Her transmission is out and she needs to get to work to move all her riders to their destinations on time. Will Finn and Spoke be able to find Lucy, find the needed part and figure out how to get her back on the road??
