Description

It's called 'The Cup of Tea E.P.', because, you know, we're so rock and/or roll! The release date will coincide with a gig on the 26th January 2013 (venue tbc, probably in Nottingham).

We are a ska-punk band based in Nottingham, UK. We formed in Derby in 2007 as a 4-piece punk band and have evolved into the brass fuelled skanking machine you see today. You can hear some of our earlier album tracks on our facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/fightingeviliscool) and clicking the music tab (no you don't have to like us first, although that would be appreciated!). The new E.P. will be slightly different sounding to this as we now have a trombone and saxophone. That's right, a brass section!

The E.P. is all recorded. This Kickstarter campaign is in order to generate the cash to release it physically. We think we've included some nice rewards in return for your hard earned cash, but if you can think of anything you may like contact us and let us know and we'll have a think!

Note: for any of the rewards you can add a ticket to the release gig on the 26th January for £2 (£3 otd.) Just add £2 on to the amount after you select your reward on the right.

All rewards include postage and packaging (where applicable).

Reward #1, £1 or more - We will sing about you in an acoustic song filmed with little to no planning and posted on youtube thanking all our donators :D.

Reward #2, £5 or more -A copy of the E.P. in physical form will be posted to your address in time for release and you will receive a code for a digital download a few weeks in advance (exact date to be decided). And a mention on youtube!

This reward gives you a copy of the physical cd (with kickstarter exclusive insert and thanks list) and a mention in the youtube thanks video. As well as this you will receive a code to download the E.P. a while in advance (probably 10-14 days, maybe :D). 

The first 25 people who get this reward will also receive an exclusive video of us playing a few of the new tracks acoustically as an extra reward for buying early and their CD inlay will be signed!

Reward #3, £10 or more - Physical copy with early download along with a custom individual numbered drawing within the E.P. sleeve drawn by one of our fantastic band member artists. And a mention on youtube!

This reward includes both a physical (with kickstarter exclusive insert and thanks list) and early download copy of the E.P. and a mention on the youtube video. As well as this you will receive a custom numbered drawing contained in the E.P sleeve. This will be drawn by one of the band members (we do all our own art!) and will contain an individual drawing of, well, something! Feel free to offer suggestions of what you want, or leave it to be a surprise! These are limited edition and will be numbered on a first-come, first-serve basis.  

Reward #4, £10 or more - Physical and early download copy as well as a physical copy of our older 9 track album (plus assorted stickers and badges!) And a mention on youtube!

This reward includes both a physical (with kickstarter exclusive insert and thanks list if bought before Jan 10th) and early download copy of the E.P. and a mention on the youtube video. As well as this you will receive a limited edition hand numbered art print with artwork drawn by the band. It will be printed on A£ size matt card so would look nice in a frame etc.

Reward #6, £20 or more - Physical copy with early download plus limited edition Cup of Tea Tee (T'shirt with tea related artwork on it). And a mention on youtube!

This reward includes both a physical (with kickstarter exclusive insert and thanks list) and early download copy of the E.P. and a mention on the youtube video. As well as this you will receive a limited edition t'shirt with FEiC! related artwork. Size and colour options are availiable. (Note, these may or may not be shipped with the E.P., as we won't be able to order them until after the kickstarter runs out as we will have to specify sizes etc to the printers)

Reward #7, £50 or more - We will personally deliver the first copy of the cd to your door and give you a nice hug! (At least 3 of the band will be there!)

This reward includes both a physical (with kickstarter exclusive insert and thanks list if bought before Jan 10th) and early download copy of the E.P. and a mention on the youtube video. As well as this we will personally deliver the first copy of the E.P. straight to your house! At least 3 of the band will be there, probably more, and we will love to pop in for a cuppa and a chat, or hugs :D.
