I would just like to repeat everything Andrea Perry just said. That report the grinning policeman blocking the narrowest part of the sidewalk so they could entrap protesters with a rolling sign, complete with several telling photos, wow. I can't understate the importance of the Baltimore Brew.
Today's photo of eight policemen in combo black, standing in formation across the Holliday Street sidewalk, is worth my $50. That photo, and your excellent coverage of the incident, compels me to pledge. Without an informed citizenry, enabled by a vigilant press, democracy is at risk. Thanks for your priceless public service.
Yay, you made it! I'm happy to be a backer, feeling lucky to have the Brew in town. Keep it up and bring us more!
Tom Gregory E-mailed me today my first taste of this Baltimore Brew.
Like lemonade - tart and sweet. I want more.
Fortunately, I am able to contribute.

I hope this helps. The success of this project is necessary for quality journalism in Baltimore. And thanks for today's sampler. I had missed some of them.
Happy to support such a vital part of our community. The Brew is telling the stories that others aren't finding, and there's ample room for more and deeper coverage in Baltimore! Please lend your support, now and in the future, as Fern, Mark, and their team continue to expand their coverage!
Hey Mark, How about an iPad app?
It is amazing how often Fern and Mark have scooped the Sun and other mainstream media. With their vast experience and energy they have made a two-person news operation a must-read website. If only they had a few more full time journalists they could do even more.

The Brew is a valuable and important news resource in Baltimore. I'm glad to support it.
