Attention all $25 - $75 backers: I will be emailing the digital version of Fenix Gear: The Effects of their Cause very very soon (today, if I can). I'm proud to finally have the finished copy ready to rock, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed working on it.

I would like to say, if possible, please do not leak this online. I know the people I'm talking to are mostly people who wouldn't even know how to to begin with, but let's give this book a fair chance when I take it to the stands.

As far as people who will be getting physical copies: I will be sending these AFTER NEW YORK COMIC CON! This is to insure I will have enough for the stands (and because I don't have them yet). If you are going to New York Comic Con or you're one of the backers I know personally, please stop by the booth or by my house, and I will give you the physical copy myself. Anyone who can't do this, I will send you a copy after the Con ends.

Getting shipped out to be printed this weekend. Honestly could not have done this without you all.

Aside from one person (Sorry Jenna), all commissions have been mailed out. You should get them shortly. Please email me if you would like a hi-res scan of your commission.

Just wanted you all to know I have the commissions in my possession. Just need to figure out how to send them without destroying them. Fed exing each one, individually, can be costly. Anyone have any ideas?

UPDATE: ISSUE #3 is DONE!

Hey everybody.

It's been a bit since I last checked in with you, but I thought I'd keep you all posted on the current progress on FG.

COMIC PROGRESSION:
As of Sunday, the rough fully colored issue #3 has been finished! WAHOO! Over half way there! And, since you all have been so patient, we have a preview of the first 6 pages below! CHECK THEM OUT!

We will be going back to adjust colors or any critiques later, after rough production on issues 4 - 5 are finished. Currently, these issues have been scripted, and concept art is being created for them. This is the issues funded by kickstarter, and where anyone who paid 150 or 1000 will appear. Concept sketches for you guys forthcoming. Now, about the other rewards...

REWARDS:
Zack has been trying to do the rewards in between working on Issue 3 of Gear, but we wanted to focus on putting out a quality issue before that. Now that issue 3 has finished its first pass, Zack will be finishing these today and tomorrow. After that, he will mail them to me, and I will mail out all rewards (art, scripts, and digital comic copies).

Just to note about the printed copies as per reward: There is some good news and some bad news.

BAD NEWS: I will not be printing copies of the book until all 5 issues have been 100% completed. And I will also not be making individual issues. Just a trade book containing all 5 issues.
GOODNEWS: That's what you're getting instead. 5 issues, 1 book. If you plan to go to comic con, I will pass it along then. If not, I will mail them to you once they arrive, printed.

That's about it for now. Keep you all posted when there's more to share about issue 4&5.
