Update #16: Thanks for your patience....
Hello Everyone-
Just wanted to thank you for your patience as we wrap up the final stages of 'Remember Where You Are'. We've begun the final process of mixing and color correcting the film (so it'll look & sound nice) thanks to some very sweet people who have offered us their talents. We've also started submitting to film festivals as well! As we start getting acceptance (or rejection) notices, we'll keep you posted on the progress.
Remember Where You Are is a finished story as of now! Depending on our film festival run, screenings of the film should begin shortly after the new year as well as all the prizes will be finishing up and going out early 2012 too!
Please help us continue to spread the word! Like us on Facebook and follow us on twitter:

The more people we reach, the more people can share this story!
I promise to get better at updating you all. Thanks again for all your support.
best,
Wayne
Update #15: The Royal Blessing
Well, well, well... I know it's been a long time since we've posted anything here, but Wayne is coming out of a long dark tunnel called 'THE EDIT' and it's time to crank up the foghorn and warn you all that the end is near.
Two nights ago, the four people who made 'Remember Where You Are' (Catherine, Sebastian, Wayne and myself) sat down to watch a rough cut together for the first time. As Wayne and I chewed our nails in anticipation of our stars/subject's reaction, Cath and Bas sat in self-imposed silence ("We don't want to miss any of it... WE TALK WHEN IT'S DONE").
Fortunately, at a particular moment of high drama about three quarters of the way through, Sebastian leaned over and through a stifled, nervous chuckle proclaimed, 'This is an AWESOME film...!'
And Wayne and I breathed. Or broathe. Or finally took air in. The point is, while there is still a lot of work to be done ('massaging', as Wayne likes to call it, though I doubt it will feel the same), we, dear friends, are nearing the end.
Keep your smartphones tuned in and wiggle the rabbit ears on your iPad: the updates will be coming more and more frequently because, frankly, there's finally something to say.
As always, Wayne and I thank you for all your support and kind words. We quite literally could not be doing it without you.
Jeff

Update #14: Catching Up
Hi Folks-
Thanks to all of your amazing support, Jeff and I were able to go to Portland last month and do some follow up interviews with Catherine and Sebastian. We also captured some amazing exclusive performance footage. We'll be sharing this soon over at the website: factionfilms.net. Be sure to check in over there to follow all the progress and catch the latest videos, blog entries, photos, etc.
We still have a few more interviews to get and finish up the edit and then hopefully we'll be sending out the rest of the prizes within the year. We'll keep you posted, but in order to keep up to date on all the happenings be sure to follow our facebook page, Remember Where You Are, and follow us on twitter as well @faction_films.
Most importantly, make sure you check out Catherine's latest music video for "People in the Hole": http://www.youtube.com/watch... It's really fun. I know you'll enjoy it.
We love you all and hope to see you soon.
best,
Wayne
Update #13: First reward sent out, Cath and Bas' Garden Party digital download
Hi everyone - I sent out the first reward tonight, which is the 11 song exclusive digital download of Catherine and Sebastian's Garden Party. It's a separate email from YouSendIt and the link will work for ONE WEEK, so download it as soon as you get it. This is the only place you can get this recording, and included are five previously unreleased performances from the night of the show.
There's a PDF file with liner notes in there but, long story short, this recording documents the night we met these two musicians and the idea for our film was born. Everybody who pledged money gets this, even those of you who politely declined any reward. Thanks for your modesty, but we appreciate your generosity too much. Hope you like the music. If for some reason you don't receive the email please contact me here or at jeff@factionfilms.net and I will send it again to you asap!
Thanks again. As I type this Wayne is sitting 10 feet away editing. He's six minutes in to a film that will run roughly an hour and a half. I do not envy him at the moment...
Jeff
Update #12: Thank you and goodnight!
see that box to the right, the one that says 'funding successful'? well this is just a short note of thanks from wayne, annmarie and myself to all of you who made that possible. thanks to you folks who donated money, thanks to you fans who forwarded our posts and trailer to your friends and thanks to all of you for your continued support and encouragement. you've basically said, 'i believe in this'. and we thank you so much for that. we believe in it too, and in the coming months we will show you just how much.
thank you,
jeff
Update #11: Promise Kept
Update #10: Nicole's House, New Jersey
MY PROMISE TO YOU: if we meet our goal before the deadline i'm going to post some very embarrassing(ly funny) footage of wayne that i captured while we were on the road. let's just say that bono's got nothing on him. there will be some silliness by me in there as well, but you won't want to miss wayne.
so please take this link (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/faction/remember-where-you-are) and forward it to your friends and family and post it wherever you think people might see it. we can't thank you enough, but i think the footage is a great start.
these photos are from nicole, the show host in new jersey. she and her mother opened her home to us and made a fantastic spread of food. we met four generations of her family that night!
thanks again for everything,
jeff

Update #8: Video's Working Now
OK - We sorted out the problem with Catherine's Video below... enjoy!
Update #7: Hello From Catherine Feeny
Hi All-
Catherine sent us a little video for all of you. She wanted to say hello, thank you and catch you up on what her and Sebastian have been up to.
As you'll hear, the tour that we followed them on was not the only living room tour they've done. They've toured the states this way a couple more times as well as taken it to Europe and now Mexico in a few weeks.
Thanks again for everyone's support. We are so close and it's exciting to think that not only is this film going to become a reality, but that it's going to become a reality because of the generosity of so many wonderful people.
Thank you.
best,
Wayne
Update #6: "Touch Back Down" - NYC Rooftop
On the third night of the tour we hit Manhattan for a show at the home of Laurent and Kate, friends of Catherine's. Since we had a little time to kill before the set we decided to take in the view of New York from the roof and also shoot an impromptu performance of her song, 'Touch Back Down'. This song was especially appropriate as it was the song Laurent had directed a video for: http://www.youtube.com/watch....
Thanks for your continued support. We only have a few weeks left to meet our goal so please forward this to friends and family and music fans and anyone you think would like to see this film made. We're doing our best to make it worth your while.
Thanks again and feel free to get in touch with us and say hello, comment, criticize, etc.
Cheers,
Jeff
Update #5: Couch Surfing
I hope this update finds you all well. I wanted to share something with you that my girlfriend and other friends have shared with me. It's the couchsurfing website:
It's an online community where you can get in touch with people all over the world who will open up their home to you and set you up with a free place to stay. We found it particularly interesting because a major aspect to Catherine & Sebastian's living room tour was making a connection with people by spending time with the hosts and staying with them and sharing meals with them. "Being welcomed into someone's home, perhaps the most private place in which to meet, creates instant, deep connection and lasting friendship." (-founder of couchsurfing.com)
So, you don't have to be a musician to bring the world closer together, you just have to be a good, positive, open person. Check it out and maybe you'll make some new friends around the world.
Thanks again for your continued help and support. We're getting closer day by day, please keep spreading the word.
Your Friend,
Wayne
Update #4: South African Interview
Hey Everyone-
Just wanted to share with you a link to an interview we did about the project. Grant from talk-show.tv, a South African based website, stumbled across our project and wanted to talk with us more about it. We did a skype interview with him and he recorded it and threw in some footage to spice it up a bit. Check it out:
http://www.talk-show.tv/09/On/Entries/2009/12/30_Live_music_in_your_living_room.html
Hope everyone had a Happy New Year. Thanks again for all your support, please keep the help and love coming.
best,
Wayne
Update #3: Video Working
Hey Everyone-
So we had some tech difficulties with the video in our last update, but it's up and running now. Please check it out. It's a fun tune (by Brian Wright), and shows how on the road, you squeeze in a rehearsal whenever you can.
We hope everyone had a very happy holiday and wish you much love, joy and success in the New Year. Please keep spreading the word and keep the love coming in and thanks again for all your support. We can't do it without you.
All the Best,
Wayne & Jeff
Update #2: "Junk Queen" Rehearsal
Hi everyone. Wayne and I have been overwhelmed by the positive response to our film on Kickstarter and as a thank you we'd like to share with you this exclusive clip. At breakfast in Washington DC, Catherine and Sebastian decided to rehearse a song written by their close friend, Brian Wright. 'Junk Queen' is a very funny tale of junkie love with tongue firmly planted in cheek.
As the holidays approach we're pressing on with the edit and hope to meet our Kickstarter goal in order to continue production on the film. Thanks again to everyone who's contributed. We can't thank you enough, and yet we still ask for more: Please forward the link on to your friends and family and musicians and music fans. We appreciate your support and hope you enjoy this exclusive footage.
Happy Holidays,
Jeff
