We want to showcase Longboarding worldwide using the perspective of the skaters and their lifestyle.

THE DOCUMENTARY

The concept of the documentary is to showcase the lifestyle that is Longboarding, more specifically Distance Skateboarding worldwide featuring a cross-country skateboard journey that demonstrates and positions the sport as a viable source of alternative transportation. The filming style will utilize the perspective of the skaters to achieve a fresh approach that makes the documentary more captivating for the audience. We have scouted locations worldwide in order to feature the culture and heritage of each country. The IDSA Gira Colombia is only the beginning to create team races worldwide, we have already begun similar projects that will take place in Central America, Turkey, and Venezuela.

We already have the resources and commitments from sponsors to shoot in Colombia, however, we need some help raising the funds to make the production an unforgettable one for the Skate Industry.

We're trying to raise $19.500 for post-production expenses.  This money is extremely crucial for the completion of the project, and will be used for:

Editing / Color correction
Translation/Subtitling
Motion Graphics/Animation
Sound design/sound edit/sound mix
Score/original music
Creation of printed materials such as posters and press kits
Creation of DVDs

We have an amazing team, we just need a bit of help to make it through this part of the process. So please, help us finish our documentary by making a donation! Each incentive has an exclusive reward, provided we meet our goal. Any additional funds we raise over our goal will be put towards the production of our next country tour... Venezuela.

THE CREW

- Director Luke Ayata is the Director of Operations of Fabrika Productions and has been documenting the Longboard scene in New York City since 2009,

- Producer Jonathan Strauss founder of the International Distance Skateboard Association (IDSA) and is the co-creator of the Adrenalina Skateboard Marathon World Tour

- Producer Irene Yibirin is the Executive Producer of Fabrika Productions and recently worked on the Academy Award nominated documentary Gasland.
