We feel the world needs more temples. in order to fill this need, we are raising funds for a traveling temple.

A serene yet magnetic art installation that ‘magic carpets’ across the country causing a transformative lucid experience for all who encounter it in various  festival settings... It will be interactive during both day and night. during the day, once inside, every view out of the temple will be framed though unique crop circle mandalas carved out of wood that form the entire shell of the space. Moreover, there will be an installation within the installation: hanging 3D crop circle mobiles, metaphysically designed for enhanced contemplative meditation effects... At night, the interactivity will step up a notch due to the special lighting/painting design within: the entire structure will be hand painted beforehand with gorgeous murals relying heavily on sacred symbols that are specifically designed within the color/chakra spectrum to re-actively “breath” colors reflected from special color-shifting LED light sources. People will be able to alter the pace of the color-breathing effect at will through specially wired controllers... This breathing effect combined with the pineal form and "galactivative" function are the key aspects that set this apart from other temples.

The temple will be made mobile by means of a van and a trailer to transport CAD-designed wooden parts, specially fabricated so that assembly and dis-assembly can be accomplished with only our hands and a rubber mallet. The electronics inside are all designed to be secure, waterproof, and run off of a car battery.

We know this project is possible if we can raise the funding because we have been extensively testing and prototyping with all the materials and shop technology required to make this happen. In our video, you can see just what we mean when we say this... Below is a summary of our budget to make clear why we are trying to raise this specific amount. Renting a van and a trailer multiple times for long distances would be cost-prohibitive. 

BUDGET SUMMARY:

• $1700 - A solid used used cargo van (we already have access to a solid trailer)
• $300 - 160 feet of LED lights + battery + wiring
• $600 - All the plywood required
• $150 - Technical shop labor fee for our partner Max who operates the CNC router
• $50 - Replacement drill bits for robotic CNC router
• $50 - Painting supplies

One of the beauties of our CAD based shop fabrication method, is that the same process that is used to make the modular pieces of the temple, can be used to make keepsakes for our backers. More on this project's philosophy:

The structure is inspired by the pineal gland. the pineal gland is responsible for mystical experience, we hope this temple will be too. The word pineal is derived from the pine cone, due to their similar sacred geometric structure based on counter-rotating phi spirals in 3D. Phi spirals are one of the fundamental beauties of nature, even human nature: our DNA holds the same shape, and  even universal nature: because our galaxy does as well. Crop Circles compose the decorative aesthetic of this temple due to their inherent capability of “galactivtion” upon seekers who desire to experience and understand them at a higher level... Authentic crop circles from the last few decades, and especially our current decade, are nothing less than sacred geometrical teachings from beyond our dimension that intend to give us clues to solutions to our current state of affairs in this precarious period surrounding the year 2012...

Where and when exactly will this end up? you all will be the first to know. Last year, we created the entire Forest Stage at Electric Forest Festival 2011 in Rothbury Michigan with some great friends and colleagues. This year we plan on harnessing the universal law of attraction for our endeavor: if we build it, it will come wherever it needs to. We expect this to be ready to take off soaking up and mixing with the energies of many glorious communities and places like a galactic sponge sometime in May 2012. . .
