Please join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new parklet this Saturday, December 8, @ 8PM. Ursula Young will be here along with other artists featured in our new exhibition A Plethora of Enchanted Delights, which opens that evening as well.

Sincere apologies for the delay in getting rewards out to our gracious backers but we've been super busy completing the parklet and preparing for the holiday season -- we forgot how hectic this time of the year is! We'll begin delivery of the rewards next week. Thanks for your patience.

Here's how the parklet looked this morning before installation of the wood floor began. Nearly there!

There couldn't be a more appropriate day to express our gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this Kickstarter campaign -- we are 103% successful!

We had a super-productive 4-day stint with Ursula and Anthony slaving away on the project through rain and shine. Ursula's painting is complete, but there are still plenty of details before the parklet is fully ready for public enjoyment. Anthony is still building out/filling the planters, securing the panels, and engineering the lighting. Once that's done, there's the wood flooring to finish. 

We'll be here at fabric8 all weekend (aside from a nice meal with the family tonight), so please visit if you're in the area. Happy holiday to all, and thanks again!
