Update #1: 5 Truly Thankful Clov Turkeys
Hello there! We’re posting our inaugural (and celebratory!) “update” ALL IN ONE, yaaay! Thanks so much to all of our generous and giving backers for supporting us. We really didn’t expect to reach our goal in 5 days, but our kind backers made it happen :) Thanks for cheering us on!
In the spirit of accountability, we’ll keep everyone posted on the progress of the project you’ve so kindly invested in. We just completed another session on Friday at Headgear Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Our main feat was to finish tracking the song, "Jailbird," which will be one of the more pensive tracks on the album. (See photos and a video clip of our session below. We will also post more pix very soon on our Facebook page).
Getting back to Kickstarter... seeing as we still have 30 days to go before our fundraiser closes, we’re going to step up the challenge and double our goal to $6,000! This would enable us to press our CDs AND shoot a brand new music video to go with the record :)
And “What song will we feature in the new video” you ask? We’re going to leave that up to you! After the album is released, all of our backers (as Dec. 20) will vote for which song off the album will be the feature of our music video ;-)

Exit Clov is a 5-piece indie rock band with members from Washington, DC, and New York City. Ever since forming in late 2003, Exit Clov have developed a signature sound that is kaleidoscopic, pop & eclectic, consisting of female vocals, string arrangements, synth, and an infectious, energetic rhythm section. In addition to the Cover Boy 7", Exit Clov have released the Memento Mori LP, and four EPs to date (2004 Starfish, 2005 Saskwatch, 2006 Jolly Roget and 2007 Respond Respond).
