My very first - an EP of five haunting, folky originals called The Midnight Hour - will be released Sept 2012. Early editions with exclusive extras will be sent to everyone who joins this campaign.

Already deep in the planning, scheduling, and creative process, I wake up every morning as if struck by lightning. I'm in love with what I'm doing, and I think you will be too. 

Because digital tools have become so portable, recording can happen anywhere. My best work happens under the stars, so that's where this record will come to life – in a farmhouse outside of Chico, CA, and in the Mendocino Woodlands during an event called Lark Camp, a weeklong gathering of world music's most astounding talent (and some of my favorite collaborators). I'm calling on every volt of inspiration.

For an emerging artist without a label, costs are no joke. Here's what your contributions will go toward:

I won't make a dime off of this project. The budgeted goal ensures that I have the tools to make a damn good product that I'll be proud of and you'll want to hear.
