A documentary about two auteur filmmakers attempting to immortalize the up and coming Idaho wine industry. Since 2003, Wes Malvini and Dustin Jones have immersed themselves into the wine and art culture of the high desert of Southern Idaho. The documentary explores their failed creative attempts, artistic relationships, and passion for the land region that has shaped them.

Approximately 150 hours of footage have already been documented. Now we need the funds to allocate and script the final product, upgrade our equipment for final professional interviews, animations, studio time for voice over recording, music rights (all Idaho musicians), hard drives, post production services, and transportation for final interviews.

When the film is complete we are going to premiere it in Boise, ID and a large portion of the profits will be donated to the Idaho Wine Commission for their Wine Education program.

The film is focused on the history of Idaho wine as well as its winemakers and their distinct personalities. However, it simply uses wine as a means to explore the effects of a land region on artists of all types. It is ultimately a love story between two filmmakers and the state that has raised them. It is also a dissection of creative relationships and the affects of obsessive projects on a personal life.
