7-time San Diego Music Awards winner Eve Selis is returning to the studio with her red-hot band to record her new CD. She's going to have GRAMMY-winning producer/engineer Steve Churchyard (Pretenders, Train, INXS, Eagles, Billy Joel, Keith Urban, etc.) at the helm this time so everyone's really looking forward to the experience. Great studio, great producer, great band, great songs- it's a recipe for the best record of her career. Please help us make it a reality.

Eve Selis is an institution in her hometown of San Diego. A tireless fundraiser, she gives back to her community in spades and rarely blinks an eye before answering "yes" to a plea for help. She's a world-class performer with a small-town heart. Winner of seven San Diego Music Awards, the Jim Croce Award for Excellence in Music, and many others, in 2008 the city of San Diego named May 30th Eve Selis Day in honor of her devotion to her craft and her community.
Her music is a compelling blend of many of the great styles of 20th Century American music: Heartland rock anthems to raise the blood pressure; gorgeous folk simplicity to lower it back down; soaring pop melodies mixed with classic country story-telling; and a "lemonade and whiskey" voice that is both epic and sultry. Music tailored for the 21st Century; music that is timeless.
Her band includes the A-list of San Diego players— Marc Twang, her long-time partner on guitar, Rick Nash on bass, "Cactus" Jim Soldi (formerly with Johnny Cash and Ricky Skaggs) on second guitar, Sharon Whyte on keys and Larry Grano on drums. Taylor Guitars magazine described them like this: "Any vocalist would covet a launching pad like this band. Twang and Soldi are legitimate first-chair guitarists, each capable of leading a major band. Together, they’re an embarrassment of riches, a stereo six-string storm of intertwining rebel riffs and complementary voicings in the loyal service of energized melodies and steel-beam song constructs. Add Sharon Whyte's colorative work on keyboards, accordian, and vocals, and the rhythm section of bassist Rick Nash and drummer Larry Grano, and you have the specs-sheet for electrified Americana that’s as good as it gets."
As one of the pioneers of independent online music marketing she’s recorded six award-winning, highly acclaimed CDs, which account for over 60,000 units sold and millions of legal downloads. She and her stellar band of San Diego’s finest have toured the world, with England being a favorite destination. One of BBC Radio’s most respected deejays, the legendary “Whispering” Bob Harris, gushed that her live show was “one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen in the UK.” She’s shared the stage with Crosby, Stills & Nash, Chris Isaak, Travis Tritt, Counting Crows, Jewel and many others. In February of this year, she performed at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
